Why am I being asked to provide a credit card when booking online?

When you book an appointment, regardless of booking online or over the phone, you will be asked to provide a credit card to hold the appointment. If you have a gift certificate or have confirmed insurance coverage through us (see below), don’t worry — you can absolutely use it to pay for your service! The credit card you provide is not charged unless a) you choose to use this card for payment at the time of your appointment or b) you fail to notify us that you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment in a timely manner.

When you book an appointment, you are reserving the therapist’s time and preventing others from booking in that spot. If you fail to notify us that you are unable to make your appointment, the therapist is not only out being paid for the cost of the service but is also unable to fill the spot with someone else. As a result, we have a $50 charge to anyone who does not show up for their appointment or fails to notify us that they cannot make the appointment within 24 hours. Of course, there are extenuating circumstances in which this fee can be waived if necessary.

Do you accept Insurance at Resilience?

Yes, we take insurance! We are an out-of-network provider for all health insurance companies which means that, if you have health insurance that we work with (and out-of-network benefits), we will be able to bill your insurance. We also work with your automotive insurance if you were recently in a car/motor vehicle accident as well as some workers’ compensation claims.

PLEASE NOTE that we must verify that you have insurance coverage before your appointment in order for it to be covered. If you book the appointment and do not provide us with your insurance information until the time of the appointment, you will be responsible for the cash rate of the appointment.

To request that we check your health insurance coverage, fill out the form on this page. For car accident/motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases, fill out our form here. If you have a workers’/workman’s compensation claim, please contact us at (541) 404-9510 or fill out our contact form here. Once we have had the opportunity to verify coverage (which can take up to 48 business hours), we will contact you with the information you provide.

If you are an established client who has confirmed insurance coverage, you are welcome to book online at any time. Please note that we do not have the option to select that you are using insurance; however, your account will have an identifier. We ask that you select the 1-hour or 90-minute therapeutic massage option when booking online. We will adjust the appointment type when you visit the office.

Please note: if we receive your text after business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm), we will be in touch with you the following day. Also, we do not have a receptionist which means we are only able to answer our office phone as time allows between appointments. It may take up to a few hours for us to respond. Texting is the best way to get a quick response but we do try to reply to voicemails as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience!
